Any band with high hopes of making it big one day needs to make sure that they promote themselves in the proper ways, and perception is one of the major keys to self-promotion. For instance, if my band posts a music video on YouTube and only gets a handful of views, it is not very likely that more people are even going to give it a shot, or that they will even ever see that the video is available. However, if I post my band’s music video and then immediately buy YouTube views in order to boost the numbers on the website, then anyone who watches videos of this style of music is likely to start seeing my video in their feed. On top of that, they will be able to see how many views the video has already received, and this will likely lead them into pressing play in order to see what the big fuss is about.
Quite frankly, most people will not give your product a chance until they believe that a whole bunch of other people have already done it. This is a very important thing to keep in mind when it comes to music and entertainment, as people typically want to be a part of whatever the latest trend might happen to be. This means that the more views that your videos have, the more inclined other people are going to be to watch the video and listen to the song. As I have already said, perception is everything.
If you are looking to promote your entertainment on YouTube, then it is probably a good idea to go this route in order to build up a solid base of fans. You never know who might give your music a shot if they think it’s popular.
